GIDR separates each region to maintain a grassroots approach to solving inequalities in local communities on a case-by-case basis. Wether this means through advocacy with governmental leaders or at UN conferences, to educating students, teachers, and adults on how to account for the rise of technology, by spreading the message out across oceans and over mountains, or applying for grants to increase infrastructure, we tackle any digital barrier that comes our way.

We have 5 regions: Americas, India, Europe, East Asia & Oceania, and Middle East & Africa. Each region contains a Regional Director, a trusted individual who makes up our 8 youth driven Board of Directors, and Action Managers who facilitate day-to-day activities and bridge the gap between policy and outreach. Each region operates semi-autonomously and works with local organizations to help achieve our mission.
